As your Innkeeper, I’d like to tell you a little about myself. I have been in the hospitality industry for most of my professional life. I started my career as a busboy in a Champaign restaurant. I worked up the ladder, relocated to California, and eventually became the Innkeeper at the Rose Garden Inn in Berkeley, CA. I ran the Rose Garden Inn for the past thirteen years and then was lucky enough to find my own bed and breakfast – bringing me right back to Champaign where my career began.
I designed the Inn using those 30 plus years of experience. All of the decisions were made with your comfort in mind, from the selection of the beds to the finishes in the rooms. While we are a bed and breakfast, I wanted our guests to be able to have all of the modern conveniences. We installed commercial WIFI with a strong signal to ensure you can stay connected. Flat screen smart TV’s in the guest rooms and living room to keep you informed. The dining room was designed with separate seating and our gourmet continental breakfast is served buffet style so you can be on your own schedule. Snacks, water, coffee tea are available throughout the day for those between meal munchies.
When you arrive you’ll be greeted by myself and my two small dogs, Princess and Dasher, who are probably our best ambassadors. I make sure I am extremely available during your stay to answer any questions you may have, or address any concerns that may arise. My passion is to ensure that you absolutely love your stay.
I look forward to welcoming you to the Champaign Garden Inn. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email or give me a call.
Love love love the champaign garden inn…
great getaway, hospitality, and experience. Resturaunts are all in walking distance and a nice park for walks less than a block away. I had never been to a b&b before but I will tell you that it has become a new found love. Not sure I will ever stay in a hotel after being at a b&b. Its like the comfort of being at home but with nicer towels and beds 🙂 & a great inn keeper!
